Sharat Batra, Founder

Sharat provided technical leadership as a manager at Seagate Research and a technical director and technologist for Western Digital corporation for magnetic sensors and recording technologies currently deployed in the hard disk drives (HDD) and solid-state disk drives (SSD). Sharat architected many innovative machine learning algorithms for test time reduction and yield improvement resulting in over $30M savings in NAND testing and manufacturing. Other projects included predictive health and maintenance for the drives in the datacenters and digital twins in the factory. Sharat has a PhD in Physics from The Ohio State University and an MS in Technology Management from RPI with over 50 patents and 42 journal articles. He is also an adjunct professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Minnesota.

Gregory Parker, Chief Scientist

Greg is a computational physicist with BS in Mathematics and Physics and Ph.D. in Physics from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has worked in various research organizations including Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Seagate Research, General Electric Global Research and Hitachi GST Research. He has been a consultant on various computational projects with clients ranging from Applied Materials, UC-Berkely, GECRD, General Atomics, Seagate Research, etc.

Vikas Mehrotra, CEO, Virtue Analytics

Vikas is the founder of Virtue Analytics. He is a highly experienced professional with more than 25 years of expertise in successfully delivering intricate projects, particularly those involving data-driven insights. Through his company Virtue Analytics, he has been using data analytics and technology to address complex issues. One of his notable achievements is the development of the Top5 Colleges tool, which simplifies the financial aspects of Higher Education for high school students and their families by providing transparency, affordability, and clarity.

Dr. Kamlesh Kumar, Chief Analytics Officer, Virtue Analytics

Kamlesh is Chief Analytics Officer at Virtue Analytics, a SaaS platform utilizing applied AI and machine learning. He holds a doctorate degree in finance, an MPhil degree in economics, a master’s degree in quantitative economics and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He has publications in peer-reviewed statistics and finance journals. He is passionate about leveraging his statistical acumen and empowering his clients in making informed decisions.
